I grew up with lots of people who were used to associate the idea of Fridays with being in love. This was the standard for many, many years. Then, some music producer with no heart, decided that the new generation kids deserve something different for their Fridays. They can’t be in love, that’s too damn easy. They have to make their mind up of which seat they’ll take, that’s the ultimate question, because everybody’s looking forward to the freakin’ weekend. And that’s all.
Honestly, Rebecca gives me heart attacks. I can be looking forward to the weekend, but it’s Friday and I am and I’ll forever be in Love. Thank you Robert Smith.
Did I ever show you this t-shirt? One of my favorites:

Isn’t that song just brilliant?
Yesterday was Thrusday
Today is Friday
We so Excited
Tomorrow is Saturday
And Sunday comes afterwards
I mean, seriously? Just awesome! No, really serious now: kids today are retarded! One day people will ask what’s my generation musical legacy and I’ll show them U2 and REM, I’ll talk about Nirvana and Pearl Jam and Guns & Roses and, heck, Metallica! What will this generation rave about? Justin Bieber and Rebecca Black? Retarded :)
yes, I sound really old too.
