I've been working in infrastructure since before "the cloud" had a name. I started my career in data centers and Linux systems administration in Brazil, moved through operations roles across media, retail, and technology companies, and spent the better part of the last decade leading cloud, DevOps, and security architecture at enterprise scale - managing teams and engaging directly with senior technical and business stakeholders.
I've run Bitbang Interface Inc. since 2014 - my independent consulting practice, through which I've delivered cloud operations, systems architecture, and technical advisory work for clients across sectors.
Over the years I've developed deep expertise in the areas that matter most to large organizations running cloud at scale: cost optimization and rightsizing, security posture assessment, IAM and access control governance, compliance alignment, and architecture review. I know how cloud environments are supposed to be built - and I've seen enough real-world deployments to recognize quickly where the gaps are. That pattern recognition is what I bring to an engagement: not a generic checklist, but a practiced eye for the decisions that drive risk and unnecessary spend.
My specialization is AWS, though my work regularly spans multi-cloud environments including Azure and Oracle Cloud (yes, I like mentioning I have worked with Oracle Cloud).
I'm based in Toronto and work with clients remotely across Canada and beyond. I speak English and Portuguese.
